One Night at Silver Lake by Katherine Scholes

Chris Vitagliano ·

This is my first time reading Katherine Scholes and wow what a fantastic start.  One Night at Silver Lake is set between two different, but similar landscapes - the Tanzanian plains and the shores of Tasmania.

Sara has been raised in what a lot of people would view as unconventional by bush doctor parents.  Her transition to a fulfil the role of a conventional wife is not always easy.  She longs for motherhood, but it always out of reach through not fault of her own and brings about the beginning of the end of her marriage.  An unexpected encounter with a stranger provides a catalyst for Sara who must find herself and have the courage to stand up as well as navigate and create her new found life.

This is definitely worth the read.

Happy Reading

Chris :)
