Not Just Books is located in the beautiful North West of Tasmania, Burnie.  We are North-West Tasmania’s Award Winning Bookstore and in 2024 are 32 years young.  Matt and Chris Vitagliano have brought their own stamp onto this wonderfully independent bookstore.  We are Tasmanian, family owned and operated.  NJB, as we are affectionately known, have an enthusiasm and passion for books whether it is Australian or international authors.  We also have an enormous range of fiction, nonfiction and children books together with a large range of  Tasmanian and Australian books.   Apart from books, we also have a large range of licensed books, art supplies, gift range, souvenirs, tea, puzzles and games.  If you can’t find it in store, we will make a huge effort to locate it for you and organise a special customer order for you.  We pride ourselves on our fantastic customer service and love to provide an individualised and personal touch to discover the right book for yourself or as a gift.   

We acknowledge the Tasmanian Aboriginal people as the traditional custodians of this land, and we pay our respects to the elders past, present and future, for they hold the memories, traditions, culture and hope of the First Nations people in Tasmania.
