'More tension than an assassin’s garrote' Callum McSorley

When Finnish detective Hannah Wester is called to a crime scene at the old cholera cemetery outside Salmis, what she finds is the last thing she expected. The body of an infant has been uncovered, with no signs of the mother.

A young politician makes a surprising announcement on live TV – after a long struggle with infertility – he and his wife are expecting a child. But that night he receives an ominous call – a woman claims to know the truth about the baby and threatens to expose it.

Wester searches for the missing mother, but she’s the only one looking – Lethal assassin Katja has been tasked with tracking down two pregnant women who have escaped the Farm. As Wester searches for the truth, she uncovers a chilling web between organized crime and the highest levels of power in Stockholm.
