The fact that readers already know the tune and how the song “goes” means that this will be a hit simply because it’s familiar but different. QR code on back of book will take readers to the song on the EM YouTube channel New character, BB the butterfly, is introduced in this book, who is a constant hit in their stage show. The book’s structure is a guessing game around the Emma Memma world. At each stop, there is a house, and the text asks the reader to guess who lives here before revealing each of the characters we know and love from previous books, including Elvin Melvin and Waffles the Wombat. In between each “stop” is a verse of the Emma Memma’d song. The characters sign greetings and "bus" is signed, too, at the start of the book, staying true to Emma's inclusion of Auslan elements sprinkled throughout all the books.
